Phil Keoghan, host of the CBS show "The Amazing Race," was part of a bike rally in Davenport at LeClaire Park Wednesday April 22nd as part of his Ride Across America which will benefit MS reseach. While he was in town, Phil learned the program's producers needed him to record some additional voice-over commentary for the season 14 finale of the Amazing Race. He made a mark on the road so that he could resume his ride - then came into the WHBF studios to record the script with the help of some of the CBS4 staff. The audio files were uploaded to CBS and the program's season finale will be seen this Sunday May 10th at 7pm on the CBS television network.
Keoghan is embarking on a cross-country bicycling journey that began in Los Angeles and will end in New York City. He will travel a total of 3,500 miles in 40 days, according to a statement.
